State Of Shock

I guess today was the day that Penn State University students, faculty and fans was dreading to hear about. It all fell down today, just like the statue coming down yesterday. Were the penalties strong enough? Thats for you to decide. I think the biggest thing we saw today was the NC two A do some real work.

Loss of money, four year bowl ban, loss of scholarships and above all, loss of integrity. This incident is bigger than football and its bigger than a statue. How do you rebuild from this? Number one, a lot of your football players will probably jump ship to find a school that does not have a cloud over its campus. Recruits will probably shy away from the "State Of Shock" and find better schools to play for. But then again, this is bigger than football. It just happen to happen in the football world of the locker room. Its time to rebuild, but in another way. Lets rebuild in the hearts and minds of the alumni. Thats a good start. Football should be last on peoples minds(Im a big fan college football fan and thats honestly hard to do) but you have to put integrity first.

Man Joe Pa, did you ever see this coming? Maybe Sandusky did but he did not care, he was all out for himself and it literally brought the house down. I see people are mad at the NC two A(thats my way of breaking down the spelling) but you should be mad at Sandusky. Using the school to "get" to young men. Its very hard to sweep things under the rug when the rugs get lumpy and obvious. The obvious thing is to start over but start slow, put those wins and loses to the side(backburner) and please bring hearts and minds together. Penn State, its time for a new slate.

Penn State Scandal

This is my first blog and I hope everyone will go on this journey with me. Please bare with me and I really hope you enjoy what I have to say.

This Penn State scandal has been a story that touches everyone in some form of fashion. You have the die hard football fans and the you got the people looking out for children rights. I really believe Penn State did not do enough to protect the children but they did do a lot to protect the integrity(and I use that loosely) of the school.

Joe Paterno did a lot for the football team as well as the school but what did he do for the children that needed help. He was just as involved as Jerry Sandusky was. Why would you protect a guy like that I mean, just look at him. Sandusky will do some prison time, Paterno will never have the chance to speak out about the lastest findings and alumni, students and fans are left to deal with the state of Penn State, or as I call it, Penning The State. There are a lot of questions that might not get answered but for the ones they can be answered, what does the school do from here.

The Paterno name is all over the school, the library and his own statue. So what is that state of his name remaining at the school? A lot of people are torn on should his name stay on the library and should his statue remain up on campus. If I was a gambling man(I dont gamble much), I would say the name comes down and that state of the statue, will not remain. We can go on and on about who should take the fall for the "penning of the state," and look like Sandusky will take the major fall but will Paterno's name fall even harder than his, only time will tell.
